RENTAL AGREEMENT
Before renting space at Chez Bushwick, all new renters must sign a rental agreement that includes our liability waiver and new 2021 studio and rental policies.
Please read through carefully. All rental agreements must be returned as a signed PDF document, and emailed to studio@jonahbokaer.net

GET IN TOUCH
We don’t do online bookings. Renters must email the studio directly with their rental requests. If still available, the studio will confirm those requests via email. Rentals are first come, first serve.
We recommend submitting requests AT LEAST 72 HOURS before your desired date/time. Studio availability is on our online calendar. We accept rental requests up to 1 month in advance.
payment
Payments are due at the time of your rental. We do accept cash/check payments in the studio drop box, but online payments are preferred to ensure a contactless transaction. Late payments will accrue a late fee of $2/day.

Cancellations + Rescheduling
Cancellations/rescheduling for rehearsals must be made at least one week in advance, otherwise the rental fee is still due.
During this time, for health and safety precautions, there may be a last minute closure of the studio. In the case of this rare event, we will offer credit towards future rentals for any affected renters.

Chez Bushwick is a safe haven for all performers, artists, staff and visitors. We strive to maintain a kind, sanctuary space for all and will not tolerate anyone being mistreated because of their gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion/faith, or immigration status. W E A R A M A S K
Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth are required for all renters (aged 2+) at all times, while on the building premises. Please note that face gaiters and bandanas are not accepted.

Wax, powder, tape, water, paint or any other substance CANNOT be applied to the floor.
NO USE OF GLITTER IS PERMITTED, EVER.
H E A L T H S C R E E N E R
Please fill out the online health screener in the 4 hours prior to your rental, for each and every rental.
Renters must notify us of any positive COVID-19 tests within 14 days of your last studio rental so that we can notify any potentially exposed persons.
W A T T A G E
Use of electronic or lighting equipment over 15amps (1800 watts) is prohibited.
S H O E S
All shoes MUST be removed prior to entering the studio. No street shoes, tap shoes, black-soled shoes, roller skates or props that can scratch/damage the floor are allowed.
