We are taking COVID-19 safety precautions very seriously. As a low-risk indoor facility, we are also staying up-to-date with New York City mandates and WHO recommendations. Please visit our new Venue Safety page to review all of our new studio policies and the thorough safety measures we are implementing. All renters must sign our new 2020 Rental Agreement contract and fill out a Liability Waiver & Health Screener prior to their rental.
Studio Availability
Chez Bushwick is open for rentals for solo rehearsals only. We also require a 30 minute buffer period between rentals. The studio can be rented Monday through Friday from 10am-12pm and 1pm-6pm.
If the time slot is greyed out on the calendar below, that means it has already been booked and/or is not available to rent. All cancellations will reflect on the calendar, email studio@jonahbokaer.net to book.
How Rentals Work

Before renting space at our Brooklyn studio, “Chez Bushwick,” all new renters must sign a rental agreement that includes a liability waiver and our new 2020 studio policies.
Renters also have the option to join as a member! Membership perks include discounted rental rates, discounted performance invites, and a weekly email blast that sends out last minute rental openings for an affordable rate of $5/hr (rehearsals only!) There is a $35 non-refundable annual membership fee.
*Last-minute $5/hr weekly rentals are currently on hiatus until we are able to resume a full-time schedule again.

Rent space!
In order to book space, renters must email the studio directly with their requested dates/times. The studio will confirm your rental requests via email. Rentals are first come, first serve and cannot be booked online. All studio availability is on our online calendar. We accept rental requests up to 1 month in advance.
Payments are due at the time of your rental. We do accept cash/check in the studio drop box, but please consider using our online payment method as a preferred method to ensure a contactless transaction. Cancellations for rehearsals must be made at least one week in advance, otherwise the rental fee is still due.
Please understand that during this time, for health and safety precautions, there may be a last minute closure of the studio. In the case of this event, we will offer credit towards future rentals for any affected renters.
If trying to book a next-week Monday rental, please send your requests in by Thursday at 4pm!

Health and Safety
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days, have been in close proximate contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, and/or have received a positive COVID-19 test in the past 14 days - please do not come to the studio and refrain from entering the Chez Bushwick premises.
As a reminder:
Masks that cover the nose and mouth are required when entering the facility and while on the premises.
Renters must enter the building in the Boerum Street entrance and exit the building on the White street exit.
Please make use of the sanitation products provided to wipe down shared surfaces (like doorknobs), and wash hands frequently.
Please leave at least one set of windows on each wall open, if possible. This helps with air circulation in the studio and makes for a significantly safer space.
